The Coinage Hall in Truro has a history that goes back to 1302 and the Halcyon days of Cornish tin mining.

Charlotte's Tea House is on the first floor of the building and is a realisation of a dream, creating a sanctuary of Victorian tranquillity just a few steps from the busy main streets below.

Charlotte's offers a large selection of leaf teas and quality freshly brewed bean to cup Italian coffee. Also available are a range of herbal infusions and Cornish leaf tea from the Tregothnan Estate.

We offer an extensive range of home-made cakes, scones, quiche, soup and light lunches freshly prepared in our kitchen. We use fresh local ingredients where possible sourced from local suppliers to maintain a strong Cornish connection.
