By become a member, Truro-based Event Cornwall has signed up to Eventia's code of practice and underwent a rigid application process.
Event Cornwall director Claire Eason-Bassett said: "We are delighted to be the first members of Eventia in Cornwall which sets us apart from our competitors.

As an Eventia member, Event Cornwall will be able to tap into networking, training, research, awards schemes and additional advice and support.
