The Tilly Mint showroom and cafe has been successfully running from Green Street for some time, but recently the offer to move by the landlord so a bank could take up the space left us with the opportunity to explore and expand the business.  This suited us especially as the shop had a deep step to the door, and could be so hot it regularily melted the cakes, staff and customers!

Tilly Mint cakes are designed entirely by Maxine Nelson, and having time to work on designs and produce the amazing creations mean a studio was the way forward for the cakes and to separate the food side of the business.

Maxine said "It was such a dilemma as there was now one of those opportunities to change direction and fulfil a dream to have a Creperie, something we could never do in the Green St shop."

Now all our cakes and cupcakes are still available to eat, buy and order from both our premises. Come in and talk to Maxine at La Creperie & Tilly Mint Cakes which can be found mid way along New Bridge Street, or to view the cake collections it can be arranged for clients to meet at the Bakery premises by appointment.
