The Soup Gallery is Truro's hottest urban art gallery, showcasing graffiti and contemporary art. The Soup Gallery aims to promote and exhibit the work of young contemporary/street artists based in Cornwall. We focus on affordable art, and provide a place where established professionals and aspiring students can showcase their work. Every month we serve up a different exhibition of work from local solo artists or collectives as well as sourcing out the finest produce from further afield.
The upstairs gallery brings a feast for the eyes, the downstairs shop sells a range of limited edition clothing, specialist cult Lomography cameras, handmade cards from illustrator Sarah Knight, and a range of 'Polite' cards featuring the work of Dave Shrigley, Stella Vine and Vic Reeves and handmade plush toys from Plastic Cat Designs. Also available is a wide range of 'Belton Molotow Premium' Spray Paint, which is age restricted to over 16's and carries the 'use cans for art not vandalism' motto. We aim to bring more and more exciting exhibitions to the city, more collaboration with local artists and continue to build
links with the community, while establishing a blossoming young art scene in the county.
