Alan Johns FBHI is a craftsman watchmaker and has been in the jewellery trade from leaving school. A Fellow of the British Horological Institute, he studied watchmaking in Switzerland and Japan as a Churchill Fellow. He is also a member of the National Association of Goldsmiths, and a member of the Institute of Registered Valuers.

Individual commissions, remodelling, repairs, valuations, engraving, heraldic engraving, and watch repairs are all undertaken.
