From the A30 eastbound: from the Penzance direction, join the A390 at Chiverton Cross roundabout, which is five miles outside the city centre. Take this route for Truro College and Truro Leisure Centre.

Park for Truro, the city's park and ride service is available all year around at a purpose built site on the A390 at Threemilestone.

From the A30 westbound from Bodmin direction, take the A39 at Carland Cross Roundabout. Follow this road for six miles into the city centre via Tregolls Road.

From the Falmouth direction take the A39 to Truro. On approaching Truro at Arch Hill roundabout, head straight on for the Hall for Cornwall and Lemon Quay, turn right for Garras Wharf car park or turn left for the railway station.

From the St Austell direction take the A390 through Tresillian and continue straight on at traffic lights onto Tregolls Road. On approach at Trafalgar roundabout, head straight on for Garras Wharf and Lemon Quay car parks or right for Old Bridge Street, Moresk and Pydar Street car parks.
