Fodders Restaurant & Espresso Bar

Here you will find great tasting fresh, wholesome food. A good selection of soups, sandwiches, tarts and pies are on offer, with smaller portions available for children.

Fodders is a first class restaurant and cafe run by local chef Steve Whittingham situated between Lemon Quay and Princes Street in Back Quay behind the Pannier Market.

Fodders serves up delicious wholesome food predominantly, but by no means exclusively, vegetarian and local ingredients are very much in evidence. Open from 10 - 5 Monday to Saturday, it's usually buzzing at lunchtime but easier to get a table late morning or in the afternoon when you can meet up with friends over coffee and Fodder's most excellent cakes and tarts.

Access to the restaurant is by an external staircase and so is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, though there is a ground level coffee bar with tables and chairs extending out onto the courtyard. A very popular venue for locals who return time and again.
