On April 21 the Aronowitz Ensemble, including Tom Poster and Guy Johnston present an evening of music featuring the audience favourite, Schubert's Trout Quintet. Also being performed is a Schubert rarity, the equally joyous Adagio and Rondo. Completing the programme and also rarely heard, will be the Faure Piano Quartet, a French romantic masterpiece.

 

 

The Orchestra of Welsh National Opera will be at the Hall on June 7 with Conductor Tuomo Hannikainen and rising star violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, with a programme that includes three of the most popular works in the orchestral repertoire; Mendelssohn Overture Hebrides ‘Fingals cave'

 

Sibelius Violin Concerto and Dvořák Symphony No.9 ‘New World'.
