After the success last year of the first Isuzu Forward 7.5 tonne rigid into its distribution fleet, Truro community brewery Skinner’s Brewing Company has now taken its second follow up Isuzu, this time an Isuzu N65.150 manual 4x2 rigid truck, which is being used for the distribution of the company’s beer products to the Cornish coastal towns of Looe and Polperro, where road access can be extremely narrow in places.

Helping to ‘Light Up the City’, 20 years on.
City of Lights is the largest annual wintertime art spectacle in Cornwall, attracting audiences of 30,000 to Truro’s city centre. At its heart is a mile-long parade of illuminated tissue and willow sculptures that are created each year by over 1000 participants from local communities, schools and colleges; with professional artists, musicians and performers, with support by over 150 volunteers.

City of Lights Parade to now go ahead.
Thanks to emergency financial support from Truro City Council and Totally Truro BID, Truro City of Lights parade will now take place as usual on November 23rd from 7pm using the same route as last year. There will not be an installation in Victoria Gardens this year.
