Summer should be all about relaxing and our newly launched Summer Menu will certainly fit the bill in one of Truro's most beautiful south facing gardens - in the elegant grounds of the stunning grade II listed Castle Lodge building with its romantic setting overlooking the City of Truro.

With only a few tables inside, most of the action takes place at the counter and the food is prepared here by our head chef Jenny Carter whilst you watch and wait as the rugged oyster fishermen of the River Fal peer down from the walls in print whilst you eat.

 

We now have extended outside seating, in our beautiful South facing garden, available for all day dining with our full Oyster Bar menu. The menu is typically seasonal and the signature oysters and seafood are principally sourced from around Cornwall and the West Country. The more ambitious will take time to graze over Plateau de Fruits de Mer, Fresh Crab Salad, Local lobster and mussels, fish of the day and many other things on the menu to fill a gap that come in at less than ten pounds a plate.
